With the new year already in full swing, it's not too late to think about upgrading to a new car. And it's with the updated 2023 editions in our new Mazda model lineup that we have for sale that will really help make this year an unforgettable one. In the past couple years, Mazda has dropped a few models while introducing a couple more, focusing on its lineup of SUVs that now includes a dynamic electric vehicle. See what's in the new model lineup at Kings Mazda, then visit us today and we'll be happy to get you going on a quick test drive.

Beyond the sporty and fun Mazda MX-5 Miata convertible, the lone car in this lineup is the new 2023 Mazda3. Taking over for an outgoing midsized sedan, the Mazda3 remains a strong small car option, now with more power with its 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which is bumped up to 191 horsepower. Still offered as a small sedan or hatchback, the Mazda3 receives only minor changes, making its trim level lineup more streamlined. There are some versions that continue to offer all-wheel drive, a rare feature for such a small car, while a turbocharged upgrade is offered, but only in the hatchback version of the Mazda3.

On the SUV front, we say goodbye to the Mazda CX-3. But there are a couple of new models joining the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-30 on the smaller range. But first, we should mention the increasingly popular Mazda CX-30, another model getting a welcome boost in power, all while this generally efficient compact SUV gets a little bit thriftier for 2023.

Having recently joined our other small SUVs, the new 2023 Mazda CX-50 is a rugged setup that's ideal for the more adventurous driver. Standard all-wheel drive, special wheels and tires in the new Meridian Edition, and with plenty of options for better power, special styling, and some added equipment in other trims, the Mazda CX-50 is ideal if you're regularly taking off from the beaten path.

Are you thinking of flipping the switch to something electrified for your daily travels in this area and beyond? With Mazda's first ever EV debuting last year, you can now shop with confidence for the new 2023 Mazda MX-30, which returns unchanged. Long driving ranges and easy charging signify this crossover EV that also carries the cabin space, high-end Mazda tech, and capabilities and amenities befitting an everyday small SUV that's simply greener and cleaner to drive.

You may have noticed some of Mazda's latest SUV offerings have changed up their nomenclature. That's maybe a sign of things to come. While we don't expect the wildly popular Mazda CX-5 to go anywhere anytime soon, we've heard that 2023 is the last year of the Mazda CX-9. The largest SUV – and biggest model of any style in our lineup – carries over mostly unchanged, though its base trim is now the Touring level, meaning you're getting a well-equipped, near-luxurious setup. Moving ahead, we expect an even larger three-row SUV to replace the Mazda CX-9.

For all that's new and exciting in this year's Mazda model lineup, it's what stays the same here at our dealership that keeps shoppers like you coming back for more.
