Exterior
The Mazda CX-50 is an upgraded version of the Mazda CX-5. The CX-50 is a more off-road-oriented SUV with higher ground clearance and available accessories that enhance your off-road experience. In addition, the CX-50 plays up its ruggedness with a front bumper that resembles skid plates, black and silver alloy wheels with optional all-terrain tires, and a roof rack.
Interior
The Mazda CX-50 is a little longer than the CX-5 and has plenty of seating room for five people and ample cargo space. The dashboard style is like other Mazda models. A knob on the center console operates a touchscreen display on the top of the dashboard. A panoramic sunroof is available to add extra light to the interior. In addition, the CX-50 has plenty of soft materials that will add a touch of luxury and keep everyone comfortable.
Performance
The Mazda CX-50 will feature a standard 2.5-liter inline-four engine that produces 187 horsepower and a turbocharged engine with 250 horsepower. Both engines use a six-speed transmission, and an all-wheel drive system will come standard on the CX-50. A hybrid model is in development but will not be part of the initial lineup.
